Attorney Referrals
Over the past 32 years, the majority of cases we've handled were referred to our office from other attorneys from San Diego and across the United States. We certainly appreciate the confidence and trust placed in my office by our legal colleagues, including both other trial lawyers and judges. We do our utmost to return the most successful result for our clients, referring attorneys, and ourselves. Throughout our history we have handled many cases with other lawyers as co-counsel, as trial counsel, and simply on a referral basis. Because we are a small firm, we have the flexibility to adapt to the status of the case and the pressing requirements of an approaching trial. We've often accepted cases that are already set for trial even though the matter is certain to be tried by jury. Our office regularly shares fees based on the California Code of Professional Responsibility Rule 2 -- 200 and the circumstances of the case. In some cases, we have paid referral fees in excess of $300,000.
